Basel Online Ticket

The Basel OnlineTicket gives you your very own ticket counter! You can buy your tickets online and print them out yourself! All you need is a computer with Internet access and Adobe Reader installed, plus a laser or ink-jet printer and credit card.

After purchasing a ticket in Ticket Shop, you will be provided with your OnlineTicket on the Internet, in the form of a PDF file for downloading. Just print out your ticket on normal A4 paper and off you go! N.B.: As OnlineTickets are personalised and non-transferrable, you must be able to provide the ticket collector with proof of your identity (a passport or ID card) – unless, of course, you hold a valid Half-Fare Card or General Abonnement. In that case, all you have to do is show your Half-Fare Card or GA.

Every Basel 'online-ticket' has an individualised bar code number for the admission check. This entitles you to admission to the exhibition (one person). Basically, the 'online-ticket' is not transferable. The purchase of an 'online-ticket' or the conversion of a voucher can, however, be made by a third person  who is not visiting the exhibition. 'Online-tickets' may not be copied or reproduced. Purchase your ticket exclusively via the official Swiss Exhibition website, and never from unknown third parties. Online tickets can be paid via cradit card. Refunds are unavailable for the unused online ticket

the 'online-ticket' can be printed any number of times. However, the bar code printed on it is electronically checked on admission to the Basel Exhibition halls. Each bar code is only valid for one admission, and only on the day or days for which ticket is valid.

The 'online-ticket' is checked at the turnstiles in the admission area of Exhibition Center Basel and entitles the holder to one admission. On the day that the ticket is used, however, the holder can enter and leave the hall as often as he/she wishes. The 'online-ticket' can only be purchased via the Internet in the protected area of 'my-login' and The 'online-ticket' can only be purchased via the Internet.
